My favorite probate conference of the year is just days away and it looks like another great line-up of sessions. The 35th Annual Probate & Trust Law Section Conference will be held June 8th and 9th at the St. Paul RiverCentre.
With the recent changes to Minnesota’s probate code and MA statutes, this conference will be the best way to get up-to-speed. Here are a few other sessions I look forward to attending or getting the materials on:
- Post-Mortem Estate and Tax Planning in a Turbulent Economy– Or, What to Do When the Estate’s Assets Tank, or Worse Yet, Simply Disappear!
- Asset Protection Planning – Is That a Light at the End of the Tunnel or an Oncoming Train?
- Planning and Post-death Administration for Estates Between $1.0 and $3.5 Million – When the IRS Doesn’t Care
- How to Respond to Fiduciary Theft
- Trust Litigation – Effective Practices for Representing Parties
- Trust Terms with the 1041 in Mind
- Medical Assistance Recovery after Barg
- The Latest on New Trust/Banking Rules, Procedures and Laws
Register through the Minnesota CLE website.
If you are attending, let me know you’re attending and be sure to introduce yourself if we haven’t met.
