The Probate Process

The court appointed representative of the estate (i.e., the personal representative) is responsible for carrying out and closing the probate in compliance with Minnesota law. The administration of the estate must be done in a timely and accurate manner. The various stages of a typical informal or formal probate are outlined in the following sections.
